So why another article on that?

While evaluating Selenic (https://ambahera.medium.com/qa-2-0-deep-dive-part-1-2-parasoft-selenic-5954c903f57e), I faced an issue with giving points to subcategories under the main criteria points.

For example, under compatibility and integrations, how do I grant 10 points? What should be the weight of each subpoint? How important are those features for our test automation effort?

Based on the above main criteria we can divide them into subpoints and weight them as per their importance to the success of the test automation. Like most of the other evaluations, we don’t only measure factors like security, industry standards etc. We also focus on the time to market (How easily you can develop production-ready test code).
